A quick update after finished up the event that we’ve been working HARD for months! I am honored to be part of the team and played critical roles as a content manager and my most favorite job, the MC!

EdTech Asia Summit 2016 aims to provide insight into the shifting dynamics and critical needs within the education sector and highlight trends and opportunities in the EdTech entrepreneur, investment, and innovation ecosystems.

The event brought together influential players that make up the evolving EdTech ecosystem in the Asian region. EdTech entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, executives, and thought leaders. Through engaging plenaries, hands-on workshops, and informal networking, EdTech Asia aims to build bridges, foster networks, and empower EdTech stakeholders across Asia. In the process, we aim to showcase key players, regional trends, unexpected dynamics, investment opportunities, and what’s next on the horizon.

And this year was much bigger event than Startup Weekend EDU Bangkok ASEAN 2015!

Over 250 leading startups, investors, educators, thought leaders, and corporates from over 20 countries took part in the two days of debates, knowledge-sharing, and networking.

My Team Rock!

Thank you for your contribution to the EdTech Asia Summit 2016!

A week has passed since the event and the feedback that has been coming back has been extremely positive. The event was a huge success thanks to THE TEAM one more time for getting up early on a weekend and helping to make the event run so smoothly!

Organizing an event is not easy but everyone pitched in to do anything and everything that was needed to make it happen. From packing guest bags, welcoming attendees, managing sessions, arranging food and breaks, running errands to the BTS and MBK, moving tables and chairs, carrying equipment, helping attendees, and recording sessions, there was much that needed to be done and we all worked together as a team to do it effortlessly.

I truly hope you had a chance to attend some of the sessions, network with the other attendees, and gain insight into what is going on in the area of education entrepreneurship and innovation as this was the first time in Asia people have come together at this scale and you made it happen!
